London, UK – February 2026 – TLS is proud to announce a successful showcase at BSC Expo 2026, the UK’s premier event for cinematography, production, and filmmaking technology. Held at Battersea Evolution in London, the show once again provided an ideal platform to connect with industry professionals, demonstrate new developments, and discuss the evolving demands of modern large-format cinematography.

At this year’s event, TLS presented the new Vega65, its latest in-house designed large-format lens system. Developed and engineered by the TLS team, the Vega65 builds on the original Vega concept, delivering true 65mm sensor coverage, fast apertures, and a consistent optical character across the full focal-length range.

The Vega65 is a nine-lens system spanning 24mm to 165mm, designed to offer seamless visual continuity, controlled depth, and reliable performance from wide establishing shots to intimate close-ups. With a compact, balanced mechanical design, the lenses are engineered for practical on-set handling while maintaining TLS’s signature precision and build quality.

Alongside the Vega65, visitors to the TLS booth explored the company’s popular rehoused lens ranges, including Mamiya 645, Zeiss Contax, Leica R, and Olympus OMs. These lenses continue to attract strong interest from cinematographers and rental houses looking for reliable, high-performance optics with modernised mechanics.

The booth remained busy throughout the show, welcoming directors of photography, rental partners, and production professionals eager to test the lenses first-hand and discuss upcoming projects.

BSC Expo 2026 also marked the beginning of TLS’s 25th anniversary celebrations, a significant milestone that reflects a quarter century of precision engineering, innovation, and collaboration with the global cinematography community.
